By using ExpenseTracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ExpenseTracker is a WhatsApp-based expense tracking service that:

  • Receives expense messages via WhatsApp
  • Uses AI to parse and categorize expenses
  • Logs expenses to your connected Google Sheet
  • Provides summaries and reports

3. Account & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must have a valid WhatsApp account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WhatsApp account.
  • You must provide accurate information when connecting your Google Sheet.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Send spam, abusive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
  • Share your account access with others (unless on a team plan)
  • Exceed the usage limits of your plan

5. Subscription & Billing

5.1 Free Plan

The Free plan includes 30 expenses per month at no cost. No credit card required.

5.2 Paid Plans

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually.
  • Prices are in USD and may be subject to change with 30 days notice.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion for technical issues only.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Your expense data is stored in YOUR Google Sheet, not our servers.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • We only process messages sent directly to our WhatsApp number.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, design, and branding, is owned by ExpenseTracker. You retain ownership of your expense data.

8. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI categorization.
  • We are not responsible for errors in your Google Sheet caused by your own edits.
  • We are not a financial advisor. The Service is for tracking purposes only.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpenseTracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law
