- WhatsApp Messages: When you send expense messages to our WhatsApp number, we process the content to extract expense data (amount, category, notes, date).
- Account Information: Your phone number (via WhatsApp) and email address if you choose to provide one.
2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store your WhatsApp messages after processing.
- We do not access your WhatsApp contacts, media, or other chats.
- We do not collect financial account credentials or bank information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Parse and categorize your expense messages
- Write expense data to your connected Google Sheet
- Send you confirmation messages and summaries
- Improve our AI categorization accuracy
- Provide customer support
4. Data Storage & Security
Your expense data is stored in YOUR Google Sheet. We act as a processor, not a storage provider. The only data we retain is:
- Your phone number (for message routing)
- Connection settings to your Google Sheet
- Anonymized usage statistics
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit and follow security best practices.
5. Third-Party Services
We integrate with:
- WhatsApp Business API: To receive and send messages
- Google Sheets API: To write expense data to your spreadsheet

6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data (it's in your Google Sheet)
- Delete your data (delete rows in your Sheet or disconnect the service)
- Opt out of summaries and notifications
- Request account deletion
7. Data Retention
We retain your connection settings for as long as your account is active. Expense data lives in your Google Sheet indefinitely unless you delete it. If you delete your account, we remove your phone number and settings within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via WhatsApp or email.
